The Might as Well, Party...

Join our party and become one who doesn't care about affiliations...

The “MIGHT AS WELL” Party…

Friends I have, oh yes,

They ask what party I do belong,

I tell them, why, the “Might As Well” party,

Been a member of this party so long,

My cards are worn and “tie-dyed”,

In the 60s I joined,

No other party could pull me along…

Yes, I vote, I always write in,

My parties’ candidate, be it Jerry Garcia,

Or Jimi Hendrix or Jim Morrison,

As even a dead guy is better than the one we got in…

Never are we mentioned on the tube,

Maybe as we have not got the right lube,

Better to have that than a president that is a total boob,

Each year they do the vote, we have a party, to celebrate,

Yes, celebrate, our win, as we have never lost,

As far as all of us on drugs are concerned,

We don’t give a flying f***, who gets in,

As long as we get our sex, drugs & women…

So the next time you are at a loss,

To decide who to vote for,

Remember our parties’ motto,

Follow it and never be upset by the resulting end,

“!Sex, Drugs & Rock n’ Roll Is The Only Way to Go!”

And what the hell, you might as well party, good people of the world,

What else can ya do, as we are here to stay, no matter the result,

So let your affiliations be known, you are a member in good standing,

Of the, “MIGHT AS WELL” party…                                 (ed)

I guess I "might as well"--think I'm a member, too, from way back. Can't seem to live with them, can't seem to live without them; so . . . might as well join them, huh? Whatever . . . b
