Made for show and go,

Made to cover a bald spot, not to show,

Made for pleasure,

Made for nights out,

Made for days,

Made for anything, just about…

Bowlers, cowboy styles, stove pipes,

What’s all the recent, regarding hats, hype?

Some wear berets,

Now what do you suppose they say?

Some wear cowboy hats and boots,

What does that say; they got a lot of loot?

Some leather,

Some felt,

Some cloth,

Some paper; for parties,

What do you like?

I like anything dark,

Like the bad guys in westerns,

The kind where they spit in urns,

And you find that they take turns,

Being in gun fights & bar brawls,

How do their hats stay in one piece?

They end the night,

With their hats on the bedpost,

Perfect in every way, or so they say…
