DRAFTY…

Bet this house would be real cheap,

That is, unless the owner wants to keep,

This “beautiful old home”, of early nineteen hundreds vintage,

If it were wine, it would be well worth the selling price,

But as it sits now, no matter what they are asking,

It is worthless, excepting of course to the mice…

The walls are a bit open, allowing a terrible draft,

Better cover up and/or start a fire,

Might be better off just to live on that of a raft,

The land around is just so much sticker bush’s,

And the neighbors are quite unfriendly,

Would probably be pissed if someone moved in,

Evicting the cats, the rats, and the occasional muskrat,

Would take more than that of the local animal control,

Might have to call that guy name of Kostro,

So he can sit under the porch,

Get pneumonia, and try to catch the wild creatures there…

I doubt the building would stand very long,

Although it has lasted this long, but not very strong…
