A dream girl to soon share the good life he dreams
Better the dreams but reality was now like a bad dream
Never got it just right
No more of the dreamy girl to dream or write
He waited so long so that all would be fine
She was whisked away before he could say “Will you be mine”
Don’t go for birds who would fly away their way
But watch for the one that could come into your hands and prey
Or else you may wish like Woody Allen said,
“ In my next life I want to live backwards ,
You start out dead and get that out of the way
Then you wake up in an old people’s home feeling better each day”
To this I would like to wish for you
Then when you reach the time when you were together,
You may freeze it so you don’t get back any further
And like a lovely twosome stand
