Matrimony does not consider its practical truths
After days of wedded delirium followed by
Periods of boring adjustments in living together
As monotony may provide the climate for
Justifying a false entitlement to sex elsewhere
Wanting variety may lead to flirting and affairs
With others immaturely blind to consequences
Safe and rewarding marriages are always fragile
So the need is to learn about controlling desires
Which promise costly thrills in cheap trysting
Eventually damaging or destroying loyal unions
Good sex and health are safe treasures in marriage
Easily assured by knowing that the urge to merge
Is in our make-up so we should never forget that
