Like a skeeter, this is a Got-cha

Mosquitoes

We all got’em, I’m sorry to say,
It’s always a fight, just keeping them away,

In Minnesota, they come in two sizes
But from that state, nothing surprises,

The sizes are tiny and biggie or more ,
Tiny comes thru the screen or up thru the floor ,
While big ol’biggie ,just opens the door!

They are a real pain, and pestilence when,
They spoil a good evening, with your best girl friend,

Because that romance, is so much sweeter,
Without the aid , of a nosey moskeeter,

Bats like to eat’em and so do fish,
But eat’em up completely, Don’t I wish,

The bossman bought us, a big can of Skeet,
From a snake oil sales man, sellin on the street,

Rub it on Dab it on, Spray it on neat,
Nothing works better than a big can of Skeet,

Kills them skeeter’s, this stuffs so strong,
And for two hundred dollars he bought that song,

We fired up a can, of Blue smoke Skeet,
And ten seconds later, it couldn’t be beat,

Could this be true , by any long chance,
Should I believe, this song and dance,

But it was true , the skeeters were gone,
That Skeet would sure do it, We’ll carry it along,

In the can I had to look. I can’t believe a thing,
A thousand moskeeters, made a big black ring,

And there they sat, so black and thick,
But each had a Hot Dog roasting on a stick!

Now skeeters, I've seen a bunch. Remember the skies full of DDT rain falling in mother's milk and such. Remembering skeeters so thick they look like fog in the evening air; why they even gathered on the leg of a duck boiling in a pot there--what luck! Counting 100 or more bites on the back of one hand wearing long-sleeved shirts required in that land. And then, going to take a leak over the dunes at the beach. To be skewered by hypodermic needle sized skeeters in the breach!
