put a story in poetic form and it's a lot more fun

Dog Whistle

Clem had himself a bird dog, the finest you could buy
But the dog had a major problem, he only had one eye,

He was always running in circles and always gittin lost,
Clem said , Doc a doggie GPS ?, Whatta reckon , that would that cost?

Too much Clem, you best forget it , but a whistle you might try ,
They make’em special for your Dog’s and they aren’t hard to buy,

Look I know just what you need, Forget the GPS
These things are guaranteed to work , I’ll order you the best,

But remember you must train your dog, I can’t do it for you,
A dog always knows his master and you’re the one he’ll come to,

Clem was quite excited , until the ckeck he had to write,
My God ,thirty seven dollars, Doc do you think they got it right?

Clem it’s built by experts, that price is really fair,
When you see how well it works you’ll be walkin on the air,

Three weeks had passed when he saw ol’Clem, walkin on the street,
Dejected , Sad and listless ,he looked down and beat,

Hey Clem you got the misery’s, why are you so glum?
I lost forty seven dollars after shipping, that’s how come,

I thank you for your help Doc, but man I think I’m through,
I can’t make the damn dog, blow the whistle, Now what do I do?

As usual, the punchline at the end cracked me up!

You clearly show the cost of medical care these days is outrageous! And everyone is fighting over insurance rather than going after the real culprit.

What to do, what to do?
Makes you wonder,
who's training who?

That dog's not as dumb as you think.
