What Can I Say? It’s my Resume’
Yes, I’ve been there ,and I’ve done that,
I’ve seen the elephant and skinned the cat,
Crossed the river and Painted the town,
Shinnied up the ladder and let Moma down,
Stole the show and been the clown,
Burned my Bridges and raised my cain,
Waited till the cows came home again,
Didn’t get lucky more times than a few ,
Made my own bed and slept in it too,
When the winds of trouble blew up my way,
I think I lost my marbles in my getaway,
I busted my Butt and ate like a hog,
Then I ran out like a scalded dog,
Cain’t win for losin and that ain’t right,
I missed the boat, a little too tight,
I was born at night, but not last night,
The foot in my mouth was too tough to chew,
I got off the wagon got my own canoe,
I couldn’t walk on water and the jig was up,
So I road the rods, and the tiger I bucked,
I woulda hit the hay but she strung me along,
So I roll with the punches and sing my song,
The ladder of success ,I tried to climb,
But the road to riches cost my last dime,
Threw caution to the wind , trouble came my way,
But them rose colored glasses, just made my day,
Tough as hickory but Dumber than rocks,
Crazy as a loon , but smart as a fox,
Tell me more now, I’m all ears,
That ain’t my thing but I’ll buy the beers ,
One way or another,I’m movin right along ,
Shot yourself in the foot, some kinda Ding Dong,
I chickened out waitin for the other shoe to fall,
The Fat Lady’s singing , so I guess that’s all,
It weren’t her finger ,I was wrapped around,
But she gimme the finger, when she put me down!
Epilogue:
He said that she said what I said , but I never said what he said that she said that I said. What I said was you said what she said that I said was never said but if I said what you said that she said that I said, then what she said that I said that you said that she said that I said was never said .
Yeah you guessed it , The Rest Home notified my wife that they had a vacancy.

I like to use clichés. Unfortunately all the good ones are taken… Probably by you.
