Would you believe I ain't gonna tell you nuttin

The Trap

He came to realizing, I’m in some kind of trap.
Getting out was all that mattered, he gave the walls a heavy rap,

The wall won’t give , but hitting harder, he saw the smallest break,
Suddenly there was daylight, what more beating would it take,

The air was hot and heavy ,that break he couldn't believe,
But throught that small hole coming in was air that he could breathe,

Cramped and hot, the trap was tight and really deadly small,
But now he just might have a chance, if he could break that wall,

His strengh would fail him for a minute , and he was soaking wet,
The effort was just too tiring and he wasn’t outside yet,

But rest a little and try again, the wall began to sway,
Piece by piece he broke it off and pushed it from his way,

Free at last! Oh the feeling, life can be so sweet ,
Too worn out to do much yelling, my voice is just a cheep ,

I can’t believe I made it out after all that heavy picking.
But here I stand proud as can be, a fuzzy baby chicken!
Cheep, Cheep, Cheep!

The wonder of birth for those who gestate in eggs. It is really amazing to think how this kind of jail escape even happens. But a little pecking here and there does the trick.

There's nothing "cheep" about this wonderfully written poem.
