Buzzards
Dang it there they are again, them turkey buzzards flying,
They’re always on the look out for anything that’s dying,
Anytime I go out there, they set up a terrible squawk,
Their greedy little hungry eyes watch my new lambs like a hawk,
I’ve tried rocks and shot guns, but they are stubborn Pests,
I don’t think they realize they’re such unwelcome guests,
I found out shooting them was not the thing to do,
They stink to highest heaven, worse than cat DoDo,
And It brings more buzzards, their numbers just increased,
The more I shot, the more showed up to feed on the deceased,
The EPA protects those buggers and they’ll be fining you,
If they catch you shootin one, your huntin days are through,
Hon I’ve sold off all my livestock, but they don’t seem to care,
Every time I step outside there’s fifty in the air,
I can’t understand it, the neighbors don’t have a one,
But sometimes the ugly suckers, at our place blocks the sun,
Wife says these birds have eagle eyes and the greatest sense of smell,
They’ll follow any animal that’s old and not doing well,
Any thing that’s showing age and decaying scent you see,
They’ll all just kinda hang around ,the way it's meant to be,
But Hon , all of them are still out there, what do you think that I should do?
I think that you should bathe more often , cause I think they’re after you !

Always wonder why they call them "turkey" buzzards anyway. Nothing turkey about them.
I don't know why buzzards get such a bad rap. They serve a very useful purpose in the ecology like predators. Ranchers and farmers are gradually coming around to the idea that weeds, buzzards and predators have more value alive than shot. It's about time.
