An outside story I hope you enjoy poetically

Firemen

Every fire truck in the county was called in for this blaze
They even brought in volunteers from outside a ways,

A chemical plant was burning, the owner about to have a stroke,
All of his secret formulas were going up in smoke,

Rewards he offered to all the Firemen to rescue his file,
But none would venture near, the fire , the flames were just too wild,

Suddenly from up the road they heard a siren screaming shrill,
With Horns a blowing and firemen yelling, a truck came wildly down the hill,

Storming through the other trucks with no sign of slowing,
Bravely blasting the inferno with water pumps a going,

Water was a deluge as these firemen fought their lives to save,
Never had the Owner seen a Fireman team so brave,

Saying, “God, I’m surely grateful, to have these men risk their lives,
To save all my secret formulas and see all my files survive,

Two hundred thousand dollars I’ll give that stalwart crew,
I wish thatI could give that much to each of you!”

A reporter to the Captain, " Oh what a team of hero’s, I’ve gotta write your story,
Racing bravely into that inferno, Oh ,to capture all that glory,”

The Captain said, “ Mister , I’ve gotta tell you, I can’t keep it still,
That screaming battle sound they claim as we came racing down the hill,

That was my crew yelling for help , and praying for good luck,
And we’re gonna have to use that reward money to fix the brakes on that damn truck!
