Buying a Sport’s Car

The teen age boy, drove a brand new Porche, into his family drive way,
His parents were astounded, didn’t know what to say,

Terrified that he would steal ,and bring the car to them,
He said a lady down the street, had sold the car to him,

And even more than horrified , he had the Bill of Sale ,
Daddy took one look exclaiming, ‘’Someone’s going to Jail!

No one sells a custom sports car especially of this kind,
For fifteen dollars! come on Son! This really blows my mind,

Where’s this crazy woman, Was she at a Bar? “
Fifteen dollars won’t even buy a wax job for this car! “

Come on Dad I’ll show you , she’s down the street a ways
Just moved into the neighborhood. Boy I hope she stays!

The lady was planting flowers when they came to her place,
The Dad was trying to be courteous , but met her face to face,

“Why would you sell for fifteen dollars a sports car such as this
Especially to a teen age boy, something’s crooked or amiss”

“Gotta phone call from my husband, supposed to be on a business trip,
But a tip came from the office ; they let this message slip ,

Ran off with his secretary, wasn’t coming back at all,
Got stranded in Hawaii, needed money so he called,”

Said, ‘Sell my Porsche and wire the money; I might be arrested! “
‘So like the kind obedient wife , I just did what he requested !”
