Another one of those outside stories I had to give a shot at poetically

The Train

Their hotel bordered a high train track,
Husband said “I’ll hit the bar; be right back,”

Wife was tired and this was fine,
Except for the noise from that high train line,

The shattering shock as the train went by,
From outta that bed, the lady did fly,

It weren’t the sound but the shaking boom,
That bounced her to, the floor of that room,

One more try and here come a train,
And boom the same thing happened again,

She called the Manager, “get your butt up here!”
I called down once but didn’t get your ear”

You take that side by the window over there,
You’ll see what it feels like flying through the air,

He said yes Ma’am , I’ll have to comply,
I’ll lay right here till a train goes by,

About that time the husband walks in,
Feeling pretty good from where he had been,

Wife’s laying on the bed with another man,
Talk about stuff that’s gonna hit the fan ,

The manager jumped up ; tried to explain.
”Would you believe , I was waitin for a train?”

Try to explain that one! I don't think that last line will do it. This one is a "gotcha," surely… "And don't call me Shirley! In fact, don't call me at all.
