The Ventriloquist


A young ventriloquist was just starting his career,
But was having lots of fun , in his first year,

His Dummy was a Red neck with long yellow hair,
Big eyes and big mouth and ugly to spare,

One night in a Bar room, they gave him the floor,
He was doing dumb Blonde jokes, fifteen or more,

The crowd was all clapping and laughter was loud,
When suddenly a Blonde stood up in the crowd,

Boy she was angry and really let him know,
That she was offended with his insulting Show,

She cussed him out soundly , and his Mother too,
Man, she was mad, he didn’t know what to do,

Said Ma’am I’m so sorry , I should know better,
But then his apology really upset her,

She yelled, ‘”Mister, You stay out of it ! I happen to be,
Talking to that idiot sitting on your knee!”
