I couldn't let this one go by without a poetic take

Private Part

The old man Curtis was in a rest home; at times a little forgetful,
But then one day, he was really sad, his nurse just being respectful,

Said Mister Curtis why are you down, you seem a little bit stressed,
Yes I am Nurse, I’m really saddened and terribly depressed ,

I was so happy , but all morning I’ve cried,
Because sometime last evening my private part died,

Nurse knowing the state Mister Curtis was in,
Expressed her condolence while hiding a grin,

This breaking new gossip brought a lotta laughs too,
But ol’Mister Curtis wasn’t quite through,

Next day , out walking , he showed very bad manners,
His deceased private part was hanging out his pajammers,

The nurse was surprised shocked and appalled,
But here came Mister Curtis boldly walking the hall,

She Yelled, “My God , cover up , what do you think you are doing?”
He said, Nurse, you forget, my private part died, and today is the viewing !
