I forgot something once, but I forgot what it was!

Forgot !

Oh Herbert Stop! That restaurant ; we,ve gotta go on back!,
I think I left my glasses there by the big coat rack,

Woman ! Are you crazy ? We can’t turn around,
This is the East Bay Tunnel and we’re underground’

In case you forgot, like everything here of late.
This things three miles long ,you’ll just have to wait,

Sometimes I believe you’re losing half your mind,
Half the Damn house is missing stuff that you can’t find,

We’ll be out of here at about something after two ,
That’ll cost another ticket or did you forget that too,

By the time I get turned around and get headed back,
We’ll probably get hung up at that damn train track,

I wish you weren’t so forgetful ; and lately that’s a bunch,
I doubt you can remember even what you had for lunch,

Two hours wasted because you forgot your glasses
Maybe you ought to enter one of them memory type classes,

Well here we are Mable I gotta find a parking spot.
I’ll pull in over for you in the Handicappers lot,

Oh! while you’re in there Mable, besides your glasses you might git,
MY CHARGE CARD AND MY WOOLLY HAT I THINK THAT I FORGOT IT !
