Bartender said, ‘”heard you found a Genie in an old Asian rug ,”
Yeah, but, he was loaded, witched inside a whiskey jug,

Couldn’t understand a word he said, some kind of foreign species,
I wished I could understand him. Damn! I blew that wish to pieces,

Told my wife, I gotta sober up, you better take my drink,
I’ve gotta stop and clear my head. I really have to think,

Bartender said, “That lady that you came in here with must be a distant inlaw,
She’s gotta be the ugliest of ugly women I ever saw,”

No offence taken, but she’s my wife and I hate to say it,
But this boozer Genie I found was a real alcoholic,

He gave me two wishes, Shoulda really had three,
Ain’t seen him since, so I’m stuck you see,

I wished for riches to fill our bank books,
And It’s really been great except for her looks,

I wished for her a Pearly white face to replace her unwanted red,
Idiot didn’t know about pearls; gave her an oyster face instead !
