I just couldn’t let this ol’story pass without making it a poem.

The Fire truck

A Fireman walked outside his station, couldn’t believe his eyes,
A little girl in a little red wagon gave him a big surprise.

She had that wagon all fixed up to look like a Fire truck ride
With small play ladders hanging and a rolled up hose inside’

Her big fire bell was a tin can, she tied on for draggin,
And believe it or not a dog and cat was pulling on her wagon ,

Fireman was shocked when he saw her team,
The dog was tied by his collar but the cat was tied it seemed,

With a a rope attached to his gonads. This was hard to take,
He needed to do something, for that ol' cat’s sake,

Little girl I don’t mean to tell you how to run your rig
But, you tie that rope to the Tom cat’s collar you could speed ,up really big,

She looked the fireeman up and down,
Then shook her head with a heavy frown,

Cain’t do it Mister Fireman, more speed sounds really keen,
My Fire truck would go faster but I won’t have a sireeen !!
