Happy Valentine’s Day To the Wife

Roses are red and yellow, but I didn’t have neither,
Violets now they said are blue, but I didn’t have them either,

My back yards blooming with some kind of a weed,
But for Valentine’s day, that ain’t what I need,

So, I’ve made the bed and vacuumed the floor,
Then had to sit awhile, the old back is sore,

But I gotta get rolling , get this ol’Bod in gear,
Thank God, I’ll skip the bathroom, cleaned it up last year,

The windows need washing, but you can still see-a lot,
Just move over a little there’s a good clear spot,

Dishes need washing, , but I’ve still got a cup,
Don’t wanna waste water, so I’ll let’em pile up,

My dirty clothes were everywhere , that basket’s just too small,
So I moved it out a little and piled’em against the wall,

Thought about a gourmet dinner ,something maybe I could make,
Bu I don’t know how to get hot dogs, look like rib eye steak,

Well I reckon that just about does it, bout time to take me a breather,
The place don’t look much better, but it don’t look much worse either,

Guess I ain’t to good at fixin things, but I can see from where I’m at
My recliner sure looks lonesome and I can sure fix that !
