Did you ever want to tell someone what you really thought and bit your lip instead.

The Insult

Coming home should be a pleasure, but not to a sobbing wife,
The pharmacist ,he insulted me,the worst one of my life,

Husband George jumped in his car and raced it into town
That drug store cowboy needs a lesson , I’ll knock that sucker down,’

Storming to the drug store ol’George would kill this louse’
No mouthy cheap pill pusher is gonna insult my spouse!

Pleadingly, the Pharmacist said,” I’ve nothing here to hide,
Your poor wife just misunderstood, you’ve gotta hear my side,

This morning my alarm clock failed and I rushed down stairs you see,
I really had to hurry ,the store depends on me

I hurried without breakfast ,but like a stupid jerk
I rushed out leaving all my keys in my dirty shirt,

God how could you be so dumb, the house is locked up too,
I had to break a window was the only thing to do,

Finally racing for the store ,thought I was in my Glory
The officer said,’pull over ,you’re speeding, what’s your story”

You can’t believe what happened next, my right front tire went flat,
But, the officer was a good guy, he helped take care of that,

Finally made it to the store and it’s almost time for lunch,
The customers were all lined up ,they were not a happy bunch,

I tried my best to help everyone ,the phone was ringing off the hook,
I was more than just impatient, I was rattled , I was shook,

I broke a roll of nickels, they rolled throughout the store.
That damn ol’phone kept ringing, as I got down on the floor

On knees ,I picked up nickels, they were scattered everywhere,
But George I gathered everyone without a word I swear,

But then jumping up with all the coins I could retrieve,
My poor head hit the counter with a whack you can’t believe,

That damn phone kept on ringing as I stumbled back a bit,
Knocking over a bottle rack, bursting as it hit,

That phone kept ringing in my ear, I was just about to screaming,
God I hope to wake up to find that I was dreaming,

Finally grabbing up the phone your wife’s ,on the other end,
To her question ,I was abrupt with the sorry state I’m in,

A rectal thermometer she had bought and didn’t want to abuse it .
I didn’t go into detail George , I just told her how to use it.

You sure ended that one by "putting it where the sun doesn't shine!"

You show great ingenuity and restraint before coming to the punch line! Really cool.

This was funny! The pharmacist was just telling the truth. I guess the truth hurts her butt. Hahaha!!!
