The Hero

Mental hospitals are not immune to strange things every day.
But patient Harold, became a hero in a special kinda way,

His old man room mate Harry, in the bath tub, tried to drown,
Luckily Harold came rushing in, when he heard the sound,,

Suicide is sometimes common, but Harry’s life was spared,
Harold was given the manager’s thanks and a special award prepared,

When the dinner was all over, then the Manager had his say,
Your heroic behavior means you’re going home today,

I’m Sorry to inform you , that your room mate Harry died,
With a rope tied around his neck , he committed suicide,

Harold said “No sir, Mister Manager, that’s not the reason why,
Harry didn’t kill himself, I just hung him up to dry!
