Remember what the preacher said, " For richer or for poorer" was he just talking about money?

Marriage Council

The therapist was saying, Mister Johnson don’t you know?
She says the love bug died for her thirteen years ago,

You’ve been married fifteen years, that’s really hard to believe,
Any other woman would just get up and leave,

She’s stated here a laundry list of all her un-met needs,
And if they are not answered , you know where it all leads,

Says she never dreamed of marriage in this cold hearted fashion,
You have no feelings for her, not the least bit of compassion,

An argument ensued and the therapist ,said wait!
I think I have the answer, there’s no need to separate,

He went to Mrs Johnson asking her to stand ,
Placed his arms around her after kissing of her hand,

The he hugged her tightly and kissed her with a passion,
Saying you should always treat your wife in this lover’s fashion,

Mrs. Johnson sat down quietly with a shaking of her head,
The therapist turned to the husband then he strongly said,

“There now Mister johnson, This is what your dear wife needs,
Ignoring her requirements, to a divorce it always leads,

Women are loving creatures with feelings of the heart,
And as a loving husband you must do your part,

Your wife requires this treatment at least three times a week.
Do you think you can do this and every week repeat?”

The husband stood for a moment thinking scratching on his head,
He then looked at the therapist, nodded yes and said,

"Yeah, I reckon I can do part of that there three days that you wish,
I can drop her off on Monday and Wednesday, but on Friday’s, I gotta fish.”

I have seen this one before, but I still was eager to hear that punchline again. I don't know who thought up marriage, but it is a stranglehold for most. I'm beginning to think that homosexuals of the same-sex have a much better marriage than women from Venus and man from Mars.
