Drinkin and Tattoos
In a lotta barrooms as two AM approaches ,
It’s time to quit the joint and turn it over to the Roaches,
This gal was looking better, but his eyes they weren’t that bad,
She was way beyond her good years, if any she ever had,
A couple more drinks might do it, she was coming over his way,
He had a pretty good idea what she had to say,
It’s late and I’ve been drinking , could you give a girl a ride,
I live a little outta town on the eastern side,
Oh I’m sorry, Mister I can see that you can’t drive,
In the kinda shape you’re in we never will arrive,
How about we share a room at the Town Motel,
We could easily get one, just down the street a spell,
We could spend the night there, if you can stand the cost ,
Without a ride to my place , this lonely girl is lost,
Maybe we could have a party, a little wine and beer?
He said gotta be going somewhere. won’t let us sleep in here,
Bartenders closing up, whatta you got in mind?
Mister you already know, I’m sure you’re not that blind,
Ok. One more for the road or maybe gimme a double–
No, Make it a double, double, I may be in for trouble,
Mister , this Motel is good but they only have one bed,
We’ll just have to share it, there’s only the floor instead,
Are you that older tattooed Gal, they all talk about,
With pictures sadly drooping and others fading out?
Man I’ve had too much too drink , and I don’t know where I’m at
But, please don’t take your clothes off, I’m not drunk enough for that.
