It”s a Crock

It was a crocodile lake, a tourist attraction ,
The best in the country. It saw lots of action,

With big ol’crocodiles on every side,
A real thrill trip with a terrifying ride,

A great pride in betting, was the big owner’s pleasure,
So, Escaping the crocks he offered a treasure,

He’d give a hundred grand if you can make the shore,
It’s a come on thing, ,never tried before,

It says he’s serious , The money’s right here,
But he’s had no takers for over a year,

Suddenly from the side a man jumped in yelling,
Would the big crocks get him , there was just no tellin,

Swimming like crazy, he made, it to the docks
With an Olympic effort he out swam the crocks


Later to his wife said , I didn’t jump in,
Somebody pushed me, wonder who it coulda been,

The wife said gleefully , honey it was me,,
I knew you could do it, That money was free.

Moral of the story
You can never be certain, but there’s one fact in life,
Behind every winning man is a loving pushy wife.
