Shower Song
You know a song writer’s, gotta write a song,
And I wrote this thing, but it ain’t too long,
Most now they only, use four lines at best,
After a beer or two, you cain’t remember the rest,
Now it had to be country , cause I’m a hill billy,
Cain’t do oprey, and that rap stuff is silly,
Couldn’t write lines about broken hearts and stuff,
Ain’t never had one, ain’t been divorced enough,
Drinkin and carousing, I know a little bit about,
But I cain’t use it, cause my wife’ll find out,
Lucille and Audrey, they won’t do no talkin,
But Lordy that Jennifer, she’ll sure be a squawkin,
Gonna make lots of money, with this new song I wrote,
It’s got the tight blue jeans, and that new country note,
Had to sing it in the shower, because my poor wife objected,
Said it sounded pretty bad, with the music neglected,
Well singing in the shower, I get to practice it some,
With slapping on the walls, like a big snare drum,
I thought it was country, I could only hope,
But it’s really hard to yodel, with a mouth full of soap,
You’re right, I shouldn’t sing, while my head is in soakin,
Sounds like I’m dyin, or maybe just choking,
Next time you hear me, come runnin with the phone,
I gotta get a demo, when I’m singin it alone,
That was not me singing honey ,You never should have rushed,
That was the squealing of the shower head, and toilet that I flushed,
Now I’m really disappointed, and my wife was too,
Gotta wait a whole week, before my next shower’s due .

And your writin's not bad either.
P.S.: Don't blame me if Jennifer squeals on you while you are yodeling Lucille and Audrey in the back-garden tool shed - given Jennifer's loose tongue ! If HW creeps up on you to the tool-shed, you can always say as a high-soaring engineer, you were only giving them a lesson in turf-mowing technique...
Keep 'em coming, Tom. The most searing, riveting sequence of pure fun on the Net !
