A poetic SHOT at squirrels in Church.

Squirrel Church

The Presbyterian church with squirrels was over run,,
They decided they’re God’s own creatures, and nothing can be done,

The Baptist church had a different plan and put in a water slide,
Hopefully the squirrels would drown and they’d Bless all that died,

The squirrels though had other plans , they played water hide and seek,
Swimming just came natural . their numbers doubled in a week,

The Lutheran church set out traps and captured all they found,
Then hauled them over to the Baptist church and released them on their grounds,

The squirrels loved the water works , but after a week of fun,
They all returned with friends and mates, the water slide was done,

The Episcopalians now set out whiskey hoping to poison a few,
They sadly learned how much damage a drunken squirrel can do,

Now the Catholic church devised a plan, that other folks would cherish,
They would baptize all the squirrels and make them members of their parish,

Then like half the congregation, they’d fit right in line,
And they would only be coming back at Easter and Christmas time,

But the Jewish folks were smarter, their squirrel group was very slim,
The first one showing they circumcised, that was the last they saw of them !
