I don’t mean to make light of anyone’s problems, but this does offer room for a little humor.

The Waterworks

Mister Green, I am concerned with your wetting of the bed,
And you can’t find the cause in anything you’ve read,

You understand of course there’s things that you can buy,
That’ll give you an alarm and help to keep you dry,

One such unit is Wifi and will attach to your Depends,
It senses your beginning and an alarm it sends,

No sir I’m not kidding this new tech is great,
With a large menu of sound alarms, that you alone create,

Doctor , I’ve bought lots of stuff from that TV doctor jerk,
I paid too much for everything, but it just doesn’t work,

I tried the plastic sheet thing to satisfy my wife,
But it was that old sunken mattress that finally saved my life,

Yeah, it puddle’s on my side, down hill don’t you see,
It ain’t the best , but after all, it only bothers me,

The clock was next for trying with a two hour set alarm,
Hopefully that would do the trick without a lot of harm,

That two hour wait was murder for holding things you know,
With that ol’bell a ringing, I just had to let her go!

The wife she gave up saying, “That clocking was the best,
But I can’t think of any other thing that we might test,

So we’ll let nature take it’s course, It’s time for laughter dude!,
I Got you a set of flippers and a pretty snorkel tube!”
