Statues are for the Birds

Sometimes I Lie a Little

Times are really crazy , no city statues for you to see,
Gone are the War Confederates and even General Lee,

Many hero’s missing from our parks and you know that it’s wrong,
Lincoln’s still a sitting there, but we don’t know for how long,

Cities are losing their forefather’s almost everywhere,
They even took out a plastic statue of ol’Smokey the Ranger’s bear,

How are all these missing statues affecting me?
Well it’s causing everyone a cleaning problem ,don’t you see.

When the shelves are empty and products you can’t find
You’ll know that you’re affected, watch out for your behind

If you ain’t read the news , you surely better start,
There’s a million pigeons buying toilet paper at Walmart!
