Some dogs are just like people and some are smarter.

Smart Dog

Ain’t that one of them fire dogs, kinda spotted black all over,
Yeah, he’s with Station Ten, Known as Smarty’s Rover,

Smarty’s in here every day, he’s a regular at this Bar,
Rover is his companion , but don’t belong here, where we are,

Yes, Bar Keep you’re right of course and I just must agree,
But Rover , has a problem and he brought it here with me,

Smarty’s a heavy drinker and guzzles anything he can get,
Then he pee’s on the station Fire Bell that don’t ring when it’s wet,

He blames it on ol’Rover, that’s why he followed me here,
He knows that Smarty is a fiend for National beer,

And though he love’s ol’Smarty, there’s, something he want’s to try,
Would you happen to have a National empty bottle he can buy?
