New Math Maybe My son was in the third grade and having a problem with his math, I think he was getting a complex because of his teacher’s wrath, My wife was really getting worried, more than a little upset, I told her report cards are coming due , let’s just see what he gets, I came from the job on Friday, I guess I shouldn’t have left ,, My fuming wife was livid , in Math he’d got an “F”, My wife was calling me everything from idiot to stupid jerk, Reckon, I’m gonna have to quit helping, with his math homework!

Like father, like son. Not only funny, quite true.

My father always said that he was good at doing math, "in his head." I don't know how good he was, but every time he took over the family finances, we went further into debt and mom had to take over again and get us on the track to prosperity by keeping meticulous records.

I got my worse grade in the second grade from Miss Coburn (cold burn), a D in mathematics that my parents, thankfully, ignored. I got revenge in algebra in the eighth grade when I got in A+ one quarter in algebra.
