It took a little while for my thick brain to get it. But I'm still trying to decipher RIOT, as a way to get money for a TV. The only riot I've seen recently was the one on January 6. There were a lot of hoodies among the crowd as well as costumes, supposedly patriotic.
Finally I get it. You are talking about looting, not rioting. Okay, but you must drop your jeans and show a good portion of your drawers as you struggle to walk with your jeans around your knees. Try out running the cops in that outfit!
When I was in sports, most of our sweat suits didn't have hoods, but some did. Lately. to fend off the cold wind I've taken to wearing hoodies because I sweat a lot in my upper body, neck and head from autonomic dysreflexia making my skin drop 20° when exposed to the wind.
I think I'll go rob a bank. Isn't that where the money is?
Hah! A bit of lighthearted irony here, Tom. I often wonder what it is about the 'hoodie' look that is such a de rigeuer aspect of every young person's 'uniform' these days. I regularly see kids wearing these with the hood up even on the hottest days and I know it ain't being used as protection from the sun!
Back when I was a kid (teen) in the 50s/60s, these hooded sweatshirts weren't an obligatory youthful uniform or sartorial statement...we wore them at the beach on surfing trips where that hood had a strictly functional use (to keep the chill ocean breezes and fog from making us hypothermic!). No one called them 'hoodies', either, back then.
Really! Someone needs to take these mis-developed 'junior-humans-in-training' aside and shake some of the BS out of their teeny, tiny cranial sinuses, IMO! PS: If you do get a riot TV, make sure it's a good one! There's a whole lot of poor-quality 'made in occupied Belarus' crap floating around out there, even if the 'price' is right...!
