Somewhere there's common sense, but not with politicians .

Tag Your Kids

Hon, what’s with the tags on Jamie and Joe,
If you’ve got a problem, I’d like to know,

Well honey it’s really kinda complicated,
Our so called leaders have recently stated,

That boy’s and girls are mostly the same,
And the rest rooms now don’t need a name,

There’ so many ignorant in congress now days,
That can’t read English, but vote any ways,

Probably got Neutral on their rest room door,
Printed Neutered would serve a lot more,

They’re blind to their voters , it’s all a big mess,
But that don’t matter they couldn’t care less,

Now why the tags, that I’ve applied,
This crap from congress got me stupefied,

Need new birth Certificates, sex not specified,
Because neither of our kids has identified,

Will rules from congress mean doctors have lied,
And all claims for gender can now be denied,

The tags are important, God, what’s coming next,
Can you guess which kid is the opposite sex,

The Idiot Meter’s at a hundred percent and the country’s on overload,
Taxes , Taxes already too high but our government stays in a big spending mode,

Our so called law makers with rules for the masses ,
No doubt we’ve elected a bunch of Jackasses?

Ain't it the truth,
Our elected parties have no couth,
But you sir, your humor excels,
With this time of year dealing in fright & spells...-e-

Very well written Tom,
it seems this is true all over the world,
it certainly seems to be in England anyway.

Tom,
Thanks for having the fortitude to speak out on this. I used to publish occasionally but one I wrote against Pro football players taking a knee during the national anthem got so any negative reviews I decided to keep my own opinions to myself.
However, in this case, I will offer the following:

Let anyone use any bathroom they choose?
Now there is a decision that is hard to excuse
Some folks like it, depends on their views.
But don’t expect me to accept it, because I refuse.

I appreciate your permission to forward this.
Bill

When I'm on my morning walk in winter and everyone is wearing hoodies I can't tell the sexes that used to be boys and girls apart, anyway.

Yup!!! They're a bunch of jackasses, for sure!

I see a disgruntled voter, but no real humor or a zinger in this one. But we can't create humor all the time, especially when we get a bit disturbed about something.

I don't know what gender you are, but when I was a boy in school, I would've given anything to get into the girls' restroom or locker room. Although I may have been offended by bloody tampons. We really should care. Psychologically, most of those who identify with the opposite sex, especially at a young age, are not sexual predators and never will be.

The sexual predators are the heterosexuals who find the rather large percentage of their fellow men and women with sexual leanings, both physical and psychological, abhorrent. Most wishing that God made Adam, and then, from his rib, his female slave. Bull shit. Time to get real and let the kids go where they want to when they have to go. Stop all the bullying and jackassing.

Well done, Tom, but here you're indulging in the favourite sport of the site: "stating the obvious"; there's none of your usual originality. I know you have said it before: "just kidding for a laugh", but I don't agree with your willingness to pass it all for "just humour". Your work has that biting edge which distinguishes your talent as something apart. That's because you are far too modest. Another guy with far less talent in the same vein won the Nobel, don't forget: "...the answer's blowing in the wind", etc. etc. Time to pull yourself up by the bootstrings, Tom.
