You got a problem ,and need some help now,

No I ain’t surprised, it’s money no doubt,
Your boy friend’s in jail and needs bail to get out,

Six hundred dollars, girl that’s some big dough,
I ain’t Uncle Sam, or welfare you know,

You say for his birthday , you wanna be with him,
Well girl my old check book is , mighty, mighty thin,

It’s a big waste of money, but I’ll send what I’ve got,
It may help some, but then maybe not ,

I don’t know the arrangement, I’m not a jail bird you see,
