I believe you are referring to a pledge to change in the face of global warming. But just like today, the debate always turns toward providing more funds for the machine of war that drives economies. It seems as though without war we cannot exist. But it's absolutely sure that with global warming we won't exist. The canary in the cage has already died, but we are still pumping armaments into Ukraine and pumping oil from the ground.
