No soul alone on mother earth has saw a more colorful sight
than the living eyes who rise to greet a morning's light
vastly bounding all around in what there is to see
sharing all it has to give to every living thing
whether rabbit, squirrel or deer, whether bird or bee
a morning glory, a fading rose, or golden leaf on tree
young and old, rich and poor, tall and short the same
no soul alone on mother earth can rightly thus proclaim
a wonder ever such as this miraculous display
given all who rise to greet another morning's day.
