Unassuming and unseen this little jewel from flower queen
bloomed ago then wilt it went emptied of its fragrant scent
to hide beneath the soil unspoiled in wait for time to shed its coil
harboring its own assurance that with the warmth from sunny occurrence
it would find the strength to rise to greet once more the brilliant sky
that welcomed it as friend indeed and kept it not from its own need
as so to herald ever more this little flower it adores.

This little jewel from flower queen, itself alone now tiny seed
full of gentle diligence and silent ebbing confidence
never frets or curse the way through the soil each cold, dark day
as it sleeps beneath the ground, keeping safe its own renown
in wait to breach from where it rests its tiny self on nature’s breast
no indeed, instead it knew to best relax without adieu
and to enjoy the blissfulness of resting in the quietness.

Until again awoke by spring this little jewel of flower queen
wakes from sleep where bed is made in the full knowledge of its ways
well prepared for each new moment every element component
begins in harmony to team inside this little flower queen
rousing all its natural strength to once again begin ascent
stretching, growing, day by day where nothing halts sweet natures sway
in bringing forth the flower queen from bed of seed to throne of green.
