And we've lost our best -- men and women willing to put their lives on the line for the rest of us. They humble me.

The billions it will cost for our freedom can be borne; though it is a heavy load. The cost in human life never can be compared to dollars. // Only the hearbreak death leaves the ones who remain behind. That is a tragedy that cannot be borne in our hearts and souls. John, please read my poem: "Happy Mothers Day In Hell."

True indeed Tommy .
The price of peace ?
What a price to pay for feeling safe and secure .
We count the cost daily .

And it's those priceless, numberless 'souls' that make war so very expensive, or, my Irish friends' word for it, so very dear. Tommy, the math of war reminds me of what we learned about the word 'infinity'.. it has no end. Sigh.. Your piece is stark, bold and sadly, very important to look at. It's good that you made us look... a "wake-up call?" Let's hope so. katy xox.

Definitely reminds me of one of those "priceless" ads...but with a much more profound message. There is no cost or price that can be put on a lost soul. This made me sad.

It is the simplicity of these words that the power of the statement shines forth - well done my friend!

Excellent job.
Reminds me, a little, of the credit card commercials, but in this case priceless would take on a completely different meaning.

Awesome topic. The cost cannot possibly be calculated, but this does it justice. Nicely done.
