Bigger Parking lots, fees, bike-paths, foot-paths, etc...Forget about the corporate interests. We're losing our wilderness to so-called 'Forward thinkers'
Miles away from nowhere
there's a place that I love so
A place where rivers still run clean
Auroura Bourealis lights the sky so crisp and clear
and rushes through your soul with intense divinity
As a child I learned its secrets
and climbed high so I could see
The forest, lakes and mountains reaching to eternity
As a teen it was my passion that drove me to see more
Canoeing through the waterways
Of the land that I explored
As a man it called me back once
and many things had changed
They call it 'progress' closing in But that's not its real name
Beautiful and fragile
are the places we destroy
We sterilize the wilderness for the pampered to enjoy
A quickly fading forest . . .
The memories of a boy
