Everyone who writes, writes for a reason my challenge to you is this try and explain why you write, what made you start writing. Will you accept the challenge?

 
It all started on a bright and sunny day

My Mission: Sky diving
To test that new space age pen that is suppose to write
upside down.


Equipped was I with the 3 P’s
Pen, Paper and Parachute

I stood by the door ready
to take that fateful leap
First surrounded by metal
then just air and sky

The adrenaline pulsing eager veins
The wind buffeting the jumpsuit
almost made me forget my purpose

As the ground approached
I wondered what I would write
Pause, 2500 ft – 2300 ft – 2100ft
     "My thoughts at this moment
      That’s it "

Decent of man
Happens without substance
Nothing to stop the plunge
      ”Hey this is good I think I’ll write more”

Second stanza began to flow
1800- 1600- 1400-
fate is our enemy or ally
it all depends on our first step
      “Yes I am liking this poetry stuff”

third stanza came into view
900-700-500
It is all about perception
observation of outer stimuli
Being Aware

"ok now a Title
I’m really into this
I just need to think
without distraction
and I will be done
Title, Title, Title, Title"

Oh well I guess I’ll have to wait
for my next life
to be a poet
