Inbetween the sunrise and the sunset

There is so much to life outdoors

that we sometimes forget

First there are the magnificent colors of the sunrise

The birds start to chirp and some plants seemly grown overnight

What a delightful surprise; it all seems so right!

Then cool breeze blows over the fields and streams

Grasshoppers, butterflies and bees come alive on the scene

They hop, they flop and they buzz all about

Then a flock of geese in the distance blurt out a long winded shout

It’s still for a while as the billowy cotton candy clouds cover the sky

They move ever so slowly and eventually drift on by

Suddenly a drop of water hits the good earth and the drops gradually increase

People just stroll on by, doing what they please.

Why a full fledge shower of silver dollar rain drops has begun!

The sky now gets a bit darker as the grey clouds cover the afternoon sun

Frogs start coming out of nowhere, croaking and flopping all around

The fragrances from the flowers seem stronger now as they perk up from the ground

Softly the pitter patter drops begin to increase then decrease until the rain finally stops

The colors of a rainbow replace a semi-convoluted sky as birds sing out like fine feathered friends.

They sing like a choir until sunset as the sky turns red and this wonderful orchestration of life is repeated tomorrow once again.
