We can hope it doesn't happen, but sadly, those in power rarely read for Enlightment and the masses produce hysteria. Let's hope that the coming Global Warming effects will not drive man to this kind of frenzy. If the world were destroyed I'd rather see it by Nature's hand than our own. Frightening scenario.

We all know it's going to happen..it's the when we have not the answer for.
Ron, we have produced a society that simply doesn't care one way or another. Whomever it was that came up with the saying, 'Live in the moment', I'm just betting had no idea what an impact it would truly play in our lives. And the future of our world.
Excellent piece to ponder Ron.

Excellent poem Ron! A precursor of what is to come I believe.
There must be a new earth as foretold in the bible, nothing can save this one, for man insisted on destroying it.

You ask questions that sadly we have no answers for. Plutonium is forever, having a 250,000 year half-life. I wonder if mankind will ever get a clue? Excellent poem, Ron, though the content is something we all would like to pretend is not a part of our reality.
