I've got a sassy girlfriend; she's as cute as she can be,

And I know this pretty female is crazy over me.

I love to chase my sweetie, but I lose all common sense;

I know I'd never catch her if it wasn't for the fence.

We leap in joyous freedom as we're racing all around;

We hardly stop for breath as we are tumbling on the ground.

The only thing that gets my goat, and makes me lose my cool,

Is the way she always beats me--she's just a flying fool!

Now Sugarplum is pretty, as I know I said before,

and she's the only little gal that I am pining for.

Her hair is sometimes matted and her bangs fall in her eyes,

Her breath is so intriguing, and those gorgeous big, brown eyes!

My girlfriend has such energy, she's really amazing;

When someone throws a frisbee, her little feet are blazing.

Although I scramble for the prize,  I haven't got a chance;

No, not when my little Cutie-Pie does her frisbee dance!

See, she's a little taller and her legs are longer still;

Mine are so short and stubby, I just do not have the will

to run as fast as Sugarplum and beat her to the goal.

It wounds my masculine ego; I am saddened in my soul.

Her "daddy" felt so bad for me; he really had a heart;

He held that girl back long enough to give me a head start.

He knows we fellows like to win, and show the girls our flair;

He didn't know my ears would take me soaring through the air!

I clamped that frisbee in my teeth and wouldn't let it go,

And Sugarplum was proud of me the day I stole the show,

Running like a champion, with my long ears flying free!

Now Sugar knows that I'm The Man, and she wants to marry me!

From this day forth, to show my love, I'll always let her win,

For I know, in my Sugar's eyes, I'm as fast as Rin-Tin-Tin!
