The velvet hush of new-born snow, free-falling from above,
Beckons to human hearts below, awe-stricken by God's love.
The lacy crystals soon adorn the dark-stained street beneath,
Cradling this early winter's morn within their jeweled wreath.
In waiting arms of Christ the Lord, repentant sinners' stains
Are blotted out by God's own Word, forgiven souls to claim.
Jesus redeems those who are lost, from shame He grants release;
For them, He bore the rugged cross to bring eternal peace.
See how the snowflakes are falling, sifting grace upon grace ~
Come while the Savior is calling, compassion on His face.
He offers life from God above, with grace abundantly,
From heaven's realm, His purest love to cleanse and set you free!

"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the Lord.
"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." (Isaiah 1:18)
Even in my ailing state, my heart is lifted, lifted...lifted!
Never stop sharing our Saviour's unspeakable gift through your gilded pen, Connie. You grace the Reader with your every word!
Love you, bless you
