Signs of life.......

Ah, spring, once again life has cycled,
bringing forth rainbow colors anew.
Each tree, bush, blade of grass,
every flower that has cycled through.

A time of rebirthing all that was,
to reach new heights not seen before.
When mother earth spreads her wings,
so gleefully and internally sure.

Many birds have made their way back,
to survey what is left of their nest.
Busily gathering new branches and twigs,
to perform what they all do best.

Bunnies and toads hiding in holly,
awaiting the cool evening breeze.
Pesky ants building their ant mounds,
diligently working, showing they can tease.

Soon our ears will hear the sounds,
of muffled chirping and thumping under ground.
As newly born birds and bunnies,
learn how to find their way around.

Garden showing signs of life,
as new buds break through the surface.
Soon to be a cornucopia of colors,
as each vegetable, each fruit has a purpose.

Oh the joy of watching life unfold,
all the wonder and mystery so captivating.
Observing all the marvels in abundance,
just aludes to emotions so invigorating.

To see a cantaloupe the size of a grape,
or a watermelon the size of a pea.
An eggplant that is not an eggplant yet,
is still so very astonishing to see.

This amphitheatre of wonderment,
leaves me speechless to its power.
Spanning across all time and space,
gracing all with it fervent shower.
