I'm getting rather hungry.
Haven't eaten for awhile.
Been on the road for hours,
traveling many a mile.

I'm also very thirsty
Almost parched to death.
I feel that I am close
to taking my last breath.

My trip went well for hours.
The time flew right on by.
But now I am so lonely
I think that I might cry.

I'm really getting stiff and sore.
My back is hurting bad.
It's probably the worst trip
that I have ever had.

I fell asleep at the wheel.
I need to go to bed.
If I don't get help pretty soon
I just might end up dead.

But for now I'll have to wait
for a cop to show.
And have him make this STOP SIGN
change into a GO.
