Andy challenged me to write a poem with the words, 'needle naddle noo.'

Hope you enjoy! :-)

'needle naddle noo,'
said winnie ther pooh
to a swarm of bumblers in the trees,

'needle naddle noo,
a-one-and-a-two,'
he said, throwing a stick at those bees,

'needle naddle noo,
tweedle twaddle doo,'
he said, showing the bees he'd no fear,

'needle naddle noo,
and a whoo whoo whoo,'
he said, and that's when they nailed his rear,

'needle naddle eeeeeek!,'
they stung!  pooh, he shrieked!!
(to bees, 'needle naddle noo' means war),

'needle naddle OW!!'
they got him, and how,
pooh don't 'needle naddle noo' no more!

There should be a disclaimer at the beginning of this poem, "NOT TO BE READ WHILE HIGH, may cause violently stuttering reactions." Now, now, I will, will, be stuttering, stuttering all night, night long, long...peace, Ed & & Rufuz

This was great! Much more creative than Andy just repeating that one line over and over to you for 7 days straight! The scary part is that I love it no matter what he does:) If you are ever interested in submitting it to a children's magazine, let me know at my website, www.writewhimsy.com :) I would love to use it for the print magazine.

I could identify with this so much. Just when you think you have outfoxed those bees, there they are. I will remember never to say needle naddle noo and never ever turn my back on those bees.
This is a great poetic song.

Wonderful, Karla! I told Andy the Pooh that he should have talked nicely to that bee and it wouldn't have stung him.

Now I see he should have also asked you for 'Bee Language' Lessons, too!
