The pic made me laugh and your sentiments are sweet.
I am grateful, too. What's the point in being a grouch? A thankful heart is a happy heart. I s'pose some folks prefer misery, and they say misery loves company. Maybe that's why I prefer solitude? Too many grouches and whiners in this world. They need to be shipped off to places where hatred, oppression, ignorance and poverty are rampant. The worst case scenario in America is still better than so many other places! Even those in our prisons are well provided for.
When I count my blessings, it always starts with the privilege of being born in America.
