Poem Artwork

At last, at long
last, we're together,
you and I -
how I've missed you,
my Darling.

I thought of your
tender embrace, how
you held me ...
parting was such
sweet sorrow;

you begged me not
to leave the safety
of your arms;
trust me, I did
not want to.

But since I am
off tomorrow, we
can spend the
day doing what
we do best -

catching up on
lost time and lost sleep ...
how I love
to sing your praises,
bed of mine!

(c) 2006, Karla Dorman.

We most definitly can relate to that! So often there seems to be not enough time to spend there. Great ode!

What a marvelous Ode to the Bed, Karla. And I have to read this to my four mutts - they barely give me a few inches to relax on it.

PS Hope You and Bed have a marvelous day together!

Karla, you should submit this to the Serta mattress company so they can do an advertisement on mattresses they give you good sleep! I love grabbing some mattress, Ode To Bed, whether it is to sleep or otherwise!
