It is HOT here too in Toronto Canada today. We feel the heat more because it is humid here in Canada. The heat just seeths into our bones.

Wish it will ease into much cooler days for all of us soon!

Excellent take on a not so pleasant subject. Heat. GRRRR, I HATE it!! And the older we get, the worse it seems to bother us! GAD, what I wouldn't give for an Eskimo Pie right now...*grins*

Aye, Karla, the imagery is oouking me out!

Me and you both, my love, rain-wise. A spatula? Do not wish for such an uncatergorized leveling element, Karla! This summer, though the storms will spin you, you will scramble our brains!!

The core of this piece is not redemption, nor equalization, the core of this piece is named Karla, and nobody else. Unless, Karla wished to be... something different. The bravest minds of all overcome themselves, with difficulty, and help. Too soon, before our earth dies, we will need all minds to flip the spatula of fate, with an uprush of joyfulness, to overcome the 'heat' of hate.

"Hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk"...a good old southern saying that you accomplished well in your verse. Yes Honey...it is hot... <sizzle!> today it was 100 with a heat index of 108 and the humidity was swamping the sweat. We have another saying down here that I know you'll appreciate. When asked how hot is it by a visitor , we hum up a voice and reply, "It's to hot to dance and too wet to plow". That about says it all.
