Working again, part time: started yesterday; boy, I'm whipped. LOL Back again today and tomorrow, then off until Friday. Will need it to recuperate!!

... forget how long it's been since
i've felt this tired.  bones that
have gotten lazy must shape
up or ship out, toughen up
to the task at hand:  got to
prove my mettle, to show these
young whippersnappers that i've
still got what it takes: getting
back into the work force ain't
as easy as it once was.
but:  i refuse to give up
and will be back tomorrow.
talk about dependable.  :)

The fact that you're even taking the time and energy to write about it shows your mettle and strength of resolve, Karla. I can so relate to this, but, thankfully, it's usually the first few days of major change that are the worst before new energy levels are resourced from the bootstraps. Yep, sure is an excuse for candles and liquid aromatherapy! :)) LOL K xx

Bit hard your teeth and keep going you will hear, but then, you don't get a little pat of approval on your back, well, what do you know? here I am sending one, and when the job tries to push you down, remember, you are not alone, your sweat drops are part of a rain that allowes this nation to still be fertile ground.

I know well the feeling and I don't envy you for I am not sure if I could make it through a full work day now even if I wanted to. Between illness and meds not much energy levels left.

Congratulations on your new job. You sound like you have the initiative and the right attitude. It only hurts a week or two, then those old muscles go through a miracle transformation and start toughening up to meet the tasks. How do I know?--I've been there.
